MEL and Direct are not Qantas L/H, and not cabin crew.
The reality of life as L/H cabin crew is not always as clear cut as you think.
No one wants or likes to use sick leave other than for the purpose it is allocated. But occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, it can be the last and only avenue available to bring a little sanity to our lives. And, unlike many in S/H, we all do our rotation of "reserve line" duty. CE & WWW have thrown in the sickleave comments as part of QF's lack of flexibility and the fact that due to GD's ongoing destruction of QF mainline and lack of new recruitment, the seniority has remained static.
