its more complex than that Mel Bourne.
I may have over simplified it, if you fly then you know what I meant!
Basically and only on one point, if you had to do back to back BOM you would have genuinely been sick and had no option but to call in as such.
the trips were horrendous and any more than a few per roster really did make you sick.
I mean the people used to P!ss in the crossover and spit in their trays and even worse, crew simply got sick. and if you were junior you had no choice but to get 4 or 5 BOM per roster and you physically could not do them.
That is one point Mel Bourne..... so don't be so quick to abuse flight attendants...........
