Thanks for the replies. As most wannabes applying to this scheme, I am very concerned about the financial input and the bonding issue if a job is not offerred straight after finishing your course. I've been following the threads in the wannabe forums closely, and have taken onboard all points raised. I will apply, but think VERY hard before signing away my 32k and 6 years of my life!
Obviously, its attractive because it may be my only chance to get a job flying within 2 years. I do not expect other airlines to start sponsoring for some time, and this includes BA
. A real shame because I felt pretty confident about my chances with them
