Maybe it's a "streamlining" exercise ?
With so many of us apparently making a right
up in the sim, they are wasting time having to get people in to do the interviews. So only those that pass the sim will get to the interview stage (about 1 in every 100 from what I see on here) and the chance of a job.
Must dash - got a pile of dusty CV's to send out.
