Re the "Vulcan 607" book:
YES! Somebody on another forum recommended it, the reviews looked OK, so I ordered it.
And read it cover-to-cover in no time.
Very well written, even if you may have trouble sorting out all the names.... unless you flew Vulcans in the first place.
