easyJet new rostering 6 ON, 2,5 OFF
easyJet has circulated the new rolling block rostering scheme, which is: twice a month 6 ON 3 OFF guaranteed, once or twice monthly 6 (or7) ON 2 OFF plus some "flexitime". A new term Flexi day is used, meaning for example a day when you finish at 3 am but the rest of the day you are off duty (I thought these were called rest days in the normal rostering language?).
This new scheme means you can be rostered to finish on 7th day at 3 am (which is called as a flexi day, not a duty day), and then be back at work two and half days later , fairly early in the morning. Sounds good fun!
