NFI what G/S we used to get flogging around the Brent Field in 212's, Decca DANAC wasn't up to that sort of accuracy:
but we did have ocassion to flog around in winds exceeding 70kts one day, simply because we were out of shut down limits, and it was convenient to keep the bus run going until the wind dropped
. No doubt we would have been well over 170kt g/s at times, just as much as we were certainly down to about 30-40kts going back into wind
