That reminds me of the bike thieves who were almost caught red-handed stealing a bike worth thousands. They escaped from the scene and were stopped shortly after, up the road. In the back of the van were two brand new sports bikes worth a few thousand. The robbers said they hadn't touched the bikes, they had just nicked the van with the bikes already in the back and got away with just stealing the van.
