Could it be that you were very good at the maths and English part of the test, but the personality profile showed you as an odd ball?

How would that fit in if that was the case. You can add up and write a good letter but you are a nightmare to be sat next to for 10 hours ???

I worked very hard for the 2 weeks on the maths which got me through that part. The English I thought was a nightmare but still did my best.

The personality profile, I was just as honest as can be.

Yes, I did my best and did not find the assessments a none event as you say.

I sat at Luton before my stage 1, listening to everyone talking about who they already fly for etc etc etc etc.

I just kept quite and got on with it.

Thomson Fly, thank you soooooo much for giving me the chance.

I know a guy who has a 737 rating and about 1000 hours on type. He failed stage 1.

What does that say. Is it the rated guys they are looking for regardless of personality and the amount of preparation for the maths and English they have done or is it the correct personality and someone who prepares for the event they are looking for.

And I passed, I am sooooo pleased to of passed stage 1. Cannot believe it.

Just waiting to be called for stage 2 and preparing to get that right on the day.

Lots of practice currently being done in my friends home built 757 static sim in his garage and a couple of hours will be spent in the real thing before the big day.

Do I want this job, believe me I do.

Preparation, preparation, preparation. That is the key.

Sorry for any poor grammar as I am not a bright as some.
