Found out some on the ex-RAF airfields:
Had a look-see in my book of Military airfields, Bovingdon was built in 1942 and used by the US Air Transport Command.
Hatfield was built in 1930 and is listed as an Elementary Flying Training School
and RLG to Panshanger
