A very valid point and also it increases the threat to hold baggage screening and creates yet another concern for the authorities. The situation cannot continue and it will only be a matter of days before they reinstate cabin baggage. The irony being that airlines were promoting more cabin baggage. I would imagine a big increase in security tax on tickets and investment in equipment which is long overdue and was surely inevitable.
