And the problem is? For years the Impulse "mates" system has been of exactly the same ilk..
The guy who has been recruited by Jetstar as a direct entry checkie has flown the A320, and he has allot of valuable experience in checking and management..something that Jetstar need.
Recruiting guys with allot of experience in checking and management roles seems to me to be a good policy at Jetstar.. both for the share holders and the long term future of Jetstar. With a number of guys now failed the A320 rating, one ending up in an office job, and a further two guys failures in the sim on recurrency, if I was an Impulse "mate" in Jetstar, I'd shut the hell up, put my nose to the grindstone and do my job and stop whinging and whining about the ex Ansett guys.
