With the "whites only" remark..prepare to be ambushed by those who insists that cx pilots come from varied cultural and racial background. Actually it is not the skin color..you can be black, brown, yellow , fuschia, tangerine or whatever, but it's what country is in your passport/citizenship that matters.
Reminds me of this Indian Pilot married to a cx fa, for years he's been trying to get into cx as s/o . During that time, he was flying as co-pilot on a corporate turboprop in a "Poor" southeast asian country. He kept updating his cv's and for 3 years all he got was the "thank you for your corresponce" postcard. Sometime 2004 he got a temporary work visa in the States, and flew cessna 152's as a CFI. He mailed a fresh application using his USA address and promptly got an S/O interview date in Hong Kong!
