Well, SHogan, the flight attracted you, so I would suggest being careful before condemning
the type of people that these filghts attract
Ryanair's non-allocated seating policy is very effective in encouraging the frantic stampede to board - don't expect the airline to be bothered by this, it works fine for them in speeding turnarounds. If any airline (Ryanair or any other) chooses as a profitable business policy to treat its passengers with so little respect, it is perhaps less surprising that they then treat each other similarly.
If you're looking for examples of human nature at its finest, a Ryanair flight is alas not the place to find it.
