just finished some flying work for another "Survivor"-Game-show.
One of the producers told me that he is flying regularly in South Africa with a certain company (...don't recall the name)
Supposedly, a couple of years ago the same company was approached by some producers, doing a "Fearfactor"-kind of show.
The idea was to have someone do a tightrope act between 2 helicopters!!
This company declined, but it seems they found another one who tried - and died!
Supposedly, they tied the cable to the skids!! No quick-release or cargo hook! Seems the 2 cracks got in the air, but one started to pull the other - pulling back - Amen!
I wonder if there is some truth to that story or is it just a fantasy-script!
If it is true, I wonder who sucked the brains out of
two d***heads at the same time??
You always find a sucker for fame, but 2 nutcases + a company to give them helos to crash??
Anyone has some idea?
