Having worked there all week in the trade halls I can understand why a lot of the trade exhibitors left on the Friday. They were suffering from heat exhaustion, believe me after Sunday through to Friday in the heat of last week you wanted out of there come Friday.
Most of the trade displays have very limited interest to those outside of the loop and if you don't nail down what you want to take back with you, as an exhibitor, you'll lose it! I agree a few of the "big boys" could have made more of a
PR effort.
Show itself was good and I had no real problems parking in the Queens car park and getting in and out. Displays during the week also excellent though agree a little limited.
Personally I believe the infrastructure and expense limit the attractiveness to both trade and public customers alike.
I always dread Farnborough week but positively look forward to Le Bourget (I guess the location helps!!).
