Did anybody feel that the organisation was pretty poor this year?
No I wouldn't. Admitedly it was a mere 10 min drive from my home in Farnham to Elmor Car Park (local knowledge
). Even ignoring that there was no delay at the gates, walked straight in. Apart from the Family getting a bit of a soaking we stuck it out and by and large it was a nice day out. The kids enjoyed it and were simply bowled over by the Reds. Its all they talked about afterwards! I loved the A380's departure.
However, this being my first visit to Farnborough, It was probably the most boring Airshow I've been to (sum total of three so far so that isn't saying much). Understandably too trade oriented. The halls were a cure for insomnia!
