The only reason, correction, one reason the RAF employ Loadmasters is as part of a constituted crew for the A/C type they fly on, to perform in flight dities and assist with in flight emergancies iaw Flight Referance Cards.....the other reason is that, in general RAF Movers could'nt load a bag of spuds without either putting the bag in the wrong place, crushing it or simply driving the forklift used to load it into the airframe yadda yadda.........so guess our self importance is fairly justified
