..Baggage and its actual weight has always been a joke......and so have the weights fo some of the tubbies that get on board...weve all seen it....your "average" weight ...have you seen some of the buffalows that get on board.....we carry 20 seat belt extenders on our aircraft...what does that tell you????
The big problem is that carry-ons are not all weighed and the rules are not always uniformly administered....Ive seen inflight play "favourites" with certain passengers and then rake others over the embers
What happened to the days when flying the C-207,you loaded everything you possibly could into ol girl...and weight and balance was.....when the pilot sat in his/her seat...as long as the tail came off the ground you were good to go
