I’ve got the international version. This has terrain for Europe.



The charts are updated via Jeppesen subscription, downloaded to PC then transferred to MMC using Jeppesen un-lock software (will only work on MMC supplied).

Routes and trails can be saved on the unit then up/down loaded via the MMC reader (supplied). This is in a .USR format used by Lowrance.
I generate my routes and load the trails into MemoryMap as this Lowrance compatible. You can also download routed via Jeppesen FlitetStar, but this only works from a serial cable (limitation of FlitetStar), but I’ve yet to test this.

My main issues with the unit are:
There is no MATZ information. (Apparently Lowrance are looking into this.)
And the base map hasn’t got much information (again, according to Delahays there will be a ‘FreedomMap + Terrain MMC available soon). Freedom maps have street level detail – a bit like the automotive software for Garmin units.
