Those MAN people, seem to enjoy keeping you hot and high coming off DANE. Just out of interest Javelin....was it onto 24R?
Everytime I can remember recently been vectored off Dane for 24R, its needed damn near full brake 250-270kts (I could slow down earlier...but then you get it in the ear as well!), if you need the anti-ice.........its down with rubber speed brakes, even then its a bloody struggle to get stabilised by 1000 AGL in IMC
I called a duty controller about 2 months ago regarding this (number on our crewroom wall) and was basically told to like it or lump it
Rather unsportsman behaviour if you ask me
