I remember deploying to Finingley from Scampton (35, 80-82) and on arrival taking the p1$$ out of the aircrew 'cos they had to live in portacabins on the dispersal and we had permanent accom. Then we got to our accom - unoccupied AMQs that looked like they'd had the pikeys in. Not an unbroken window in the place, and not much else besides. At least the growbags had cooking facilities. That was when the area was still the Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire wasn't it? (Run by some blind guy called Blunkett).
