Oh hell !! I thought I had it sussed
I just use QFE when flying circuits and local. Seems to work for me, although I'd happily work out what it should be on QNH. Now let's see.... Conington is elev 26 ft, circuit height is 1000ft = 1026ft on QFE. So round out at circa 41ft QNH instead of 15ft QFE
