As a moron in aviation security...(Bushbolox words not mine) I had my first parachute through the system last month and it caused a bit of commotion. The problem being that the pax had not told check-in that he had it and we at security had no idea whether the AAD was safe to go in the cabin. After consultations between different bodies it was deemed safe and pax went away happy. At no time did we suggest unpacking the parachute. I wish it had been Jetlagslag as the imformation card mentioned would have been useful to us.
