My question, on a standard VFR plog, why would you need the Magnetic Track, what purpose does it serve?
Ever noticed the compass is Magnetic? Mag Hdg plus Drift =Mag Track! Why would you want to use TRUE? You can't steer it, VORs are Mag the RMI if you have one is Mag, the ADF is relative to Mag Hdg. Airways are Mag Tracks!
We used to operate C130s on Mag all the time.
