After reading what " crew use only " wrote, i thought i would have to tell of an incident that i witnessed. The airport where i used to be based had a smoking room where all airline personell smoked, that smoked, myself and a collegue after a long night flight, had a quick fag before getting the staff bus to the car park, on entering the room we couldn`t believe, this purser was debriefing 2 crew in there, the 2 crew werent even smoking only the purser, one of the crew was quite clearly very upset, and i`m sorry but we had to say something on the lines, " do you think its appropriate to do this here ", on which the pursers reply was "well they`ve only got a couple more weeks, roll on the winter ", well thank f--- i dont work for Monarch, that memory will always stay with me, thats how i view Monarch crew now, you can always tell the junior crew as they always look **** scarred.
