I have flown on QF many many times internationally. The flights are always smooth and a I have plenty of confidence in their safety record. Having said that the service is usually crap. The F/As always look upset about something and get cranky easily. Its a shame that this the first impression of a real Aussie when overseas tourists travel to Australia.
