Thanks for the ideas for NAV/hour-buiding in Manitoba/Ontario.
I flew to Lac du Bonnet (stunning setting!), Gimli (amazing DC-3s and C-46s!), St. Andrews, Brandon, Kenora (great scenery), Red Lake and a few others (Ear Falls, Altona, Winkler, Killarney, Steinbach North, etc). Morden's runway, though, was obstructed by vehicles (although I couldn't find any NOTAM mentioning runway maintenance there). Nice to have been able to do touch and goes at Winnipeg International (on a Flight Plan) and mix it with CRJs, Metros, etc.
I thorougly enjoyed the experience - and the absence of landing fees (except very reasonable ones at Kenora).
