Hello everybody. This is my first post on this forum.
I'm a year of my military end of contract, and I seriously think of settling down in Dubai, where my girlfriend and familly lives.
My experience is 90 percent military, total 2800 hours with 500 hours on helicopters, 2000 on single engine turboprop (TBM 700 ), and around hundred hours on twin turbo ( cessna 406 ).
I'll soon get my frozen ATPL, and already hold a CPL-A/H IR ME licence.
Do I have any chance within Emirates even if i'm really below the requirements ?
Otherwise, what are your advices concerning pilot jobs in the area ( netjet, jetaviation and so on...)
Thanx in advance for your help, cause i'm trying to figure out my plans.
( As I have a year before bieng able to leave, what delays should I consider before sending CV's ?)
I already now a bit about Dubai lifestyle, and my goal is really to settle there with my so distant girlfriend.
