Windows media player

I've just acquired a copy of the CD that Airborne Artist is selling in aid of the British Legion on the Military Forum. It includes the TVAM GW1 video, "The Boys from Bahrain" and three other clips including one called "The Chase".

I cannot persuade the TVAM video to play on either my desktop or laptop computers and don't know what I am doing wrong. I've tried it with Windows Media Player which tries to download a new codec and then gives me an "errror downloading codec" message and then plays the soundtrack only, Real Player which tries to get an update and freezes, and QuickTime player which doesn't want to do anything. I've also tried it on the DVD player attached to my TV which which just says "wrong CD" and won't play any tracks at all.

Most of the other clips play OK on both computers although "The Chase" doesn't run on the desktop.

I'm running Win XP on both machines, Professional on the desktop and Home on the laptop.

Has anyone got any ideas where I might be going wrong?
