Have to agree with Harvey. Geting betwen Colombo and the Airport is chaotic at best. Even with "light" traffic on those roads, it can take more than two hours. There is no such thing as a motor way there.
One more thing, even the outrageous tourist fares are dirt cheap compared to anywhere else.
