I was watching my Martinair ITVV MD-11 video, dreaming about one day being an MD-11 pilot myself, and one thing I was noticing was that everytime Robert (The first officer, what a guy!) selected a different flap setting the yoke would turn to the right every time, in all phases of flight.
This is normal, right? I would imagine it's not actually indicating the deflection of ailerons but rather a signal to the pilot that the flaps and slats are in motion.
Can any of you high-speed MD-11 drivers explain this in a little more detail for me?
THANKS.
