Just a note about languages...
Languages - ??? maybe, i dont have any other languages. but definatelly it would help.
It will definitely be an advantage when it comes to being in Dubai, living with people from other countries.... but time and again it's been emphasised at open days that you do NOT have to have a second language (besides English if you're not a native English speaker) and it will NOT work against you if you only speak English...
All training is conducted in English and if not an English speaker by birth you are not allowed to use your native language/chat with others in any language other than English while on duty (this of course does not apply with pax who only speak that language!!
)
I have seen parts of the intro manual etc and it's quite plainly stated in the rules...
