Advice from an A320 type rated pilot: TYPE RATING WITHOUT HOURS ON TYPE IS USELESS. My partner and most of my friends (A320 rated) are still looking for a job, some have been on Eagle's waiting list for line training for almost 2 years.
Unfortunately you will only be aware of the situation after having spent your $$$$$$
