well, obviously you have no idea what's cookin. cause the biggest clash ever is nearing it's climax.
tui is getting more and more greedy. asked hapag to be benchmarked. result was to set mark for a compulsory pay-change. that was fixed in written contract with pilots union. they were thinking of cutting pay. but oops: hapag crews are rather inexpensive compared to the competitors in the benchmark.
now suddenly, they don't give a u-know-what anymore for the benchmark they requested and the contract.
now they're offering paycut and no future perspectives for expansion. rather they try to transfer all the "classic" hapag routes to HLX (hapag lloyd express). HLX will be operated by the cheapest bidder, most likely germania. (yes, they are flying OUR NAME, but it's a different aoc)
and they're threatening to cut jobs in a "crisis". the definition of "crisis" will be made by tui, of course.
since tui bought hapag it's been on the way down. pilots thinking of jumping ship.
