It was scheduled to be a 146 as boarding pass had seat 15F but even at 8am the flight was showing a 1hour delay which crept to 3 during the day.
Perhaps the 146 had a tech problem which is becoming a regular feature of those aircraft.
Appreciate what you said about minimum rest but the crew that flew the aircraft from BOH to SOU to MAN were not the ones who had to divert to BOH on the Friday night as the Captain said that they had to get it from BOH that morning.
Flybe do suffer a lot with delays and it only takes a small problem to cause a knockon effect which may take a few days to recover from. Channel Island wx is a major headache.
