Jazz retires its BAe 146s
Air Canada Jazz retired its last BAe 146 on February 15. The move, announced last summer, is part of the re-organization plan of parent Air Canada. Air Canada has ordered Bombardier CRJ700s and CRJ705s and Embraer 175s and 190s to renew its regional jet fleet. Jazz operated ten series 200s which had been previously operated by predecessors AirBC and Air Nova. The 146s are currently parked at Calgary and Halifax pending their return to BAE Systems.
