Any idea why Apacau ??
Are there secret plans afoot to run 747-100/200 freighters full of fyshwicks finest out of there in summer ?
Sure they MIGHT attract a bit more traffic or slightly higher loads out of there in summer but would this be enough to justify the millions of dollars being spent on the extension ?? (Considering the Q400 will soon be doing the majority of the flying ex CB and can already lift a full load off rwy 35)
Dont get me wrong, im all for an upgrade, but in this day and age of cost cutting and cost recovery I wouldnt have thought theyd be able to justify it.
