Training courses start every week for at least the next couple of months. We have a new aircraft arriving every week, so we need to fill them with cabin crew!
Compared to other airlines, easyJet is quite different. On the plus side;
Everyone is really friendly, and the crew get on really well.
Everyone is young, or young at heart, and up for it!
The are lots of oppurtunities for promotion to Senior after 12 months.
The money is good. (Probably the 2nd or 3rd highest paid airline in the UK)
You get a lot of leave, and you can take it pretty much when you want.
You get a lot of commission from what you sell (10%)
On staff travel, you can have 3 friends, as well as any dependant children.
On the down side;
Most duty days are really long (Max is about 11h30m/ Average is about 9 to 10 hours)
There are no cleaners, the crew clean everything including empyting toilet bins etc.
Staff travel is only on the EZY network.
You are always really tired.
On balance, I still really like my job, but there is plenty wrong with it too.
