They have recently recruited directly on to the 146...although it will cost you 5 grand for the privilege if you're not typed. You do however go straight in on jet money so not a really bad deal, especially if it's your first job. And they are currently recruiting DE captains on the Q400.
eggtimer is pretty accurate with the rostering stuff, and they are tending to stick to the 5 on 2 off pattern. 104 days off per year not including leave and a pretty decent pension to boot.
