This forum has produced magic previously, hope it can again.
Doing a bit of research and would like to know if anybody here has recollections of the Suez thing (Operation Musketter), especially the
PR Canberras of 58 and 13 Sqns.
Only one Canberra was lost, WH799, shot down by a Syrian Mig-17 (or Meteor depending on which tale you believe). Of the three-man crew only one was killed, Fg Off Urqhart-Pullen. Pilot, Flt Lt Bernie Hunter and nav, Flt Lt Sam Small, (13 Sqn crew in a 58 Sqn Canberra), were captured and held in jail in Beiruit until repatriated.

Does any know if the pilot and/or nav are contactable these days? Anyone here in the 13 Sqn Association that could maybe ask around?
