I agree that it is a bit of a laugh that you can not fly the A/c you have just been rated on without having the new rating's page. When I got my new rating I had to travel down to Gatwick in the early hours in order to be first in line. In the end I was third and was told it would take them 3 hours to complete. Three hours for a simple page. In the end it was only just 2.
