Murcia is a militiary training airfield. Although another runway has been finished and terminal extensions being built - there is supposed to be a proper Murcia airport being built south of the city. If you are thinking of flying into MJV 3rd/4th June - forget it! What is billed as the largest and most spectacular airshow ever held in Spain will be taking place and all flights are being diverted to Alicante. Should be a good show. The Sparrows will be there
