jeppesen also offer dispatch courses:
http://www.jeppesen.com/wlcs/index.j...anagement2.jsp

you will recieve the faa license after completing the course.

problem a:
in germany, although it is not mandatory to hold an lba licence for working as a dispatcher, an faa license will not help you getting a job in any lh/de/lcag/cl occ because they require the lba licence. heard rumors that even hf requires the lba license for new dispatchers...

problem b:
so what´s left for potential work as a dispatcher with an faa licence?
ab: salary not too good
lt: dunno how long they will exist...
4u: they were recently looking for a dispatcher/ops ctrl officer (no licence mandatory), dunno about the salary
4r: same
c9: same

problem c:
the demand for new dispatchers is not very high in germany. the output of the lh flighttraining dispatch courses exceeds the market´s demands,
so you do have a lot of new unemployed dispatchers holding the lba licence every year.
and these dispatchers will in my eyes be preferred by the companies. not because the training was better than jeppesen training, but it was more comrehensive due to the lba dispatch licence requirements.

so all in all it´s not a good moment to get a licence these days...
cheers
