Question

Howradly, I have no idea, but am curious about many aspect of life there, based upon the enormous economic growth and influence/control of the world economy. Do airlines in mainland China honour contracts, or have any signed by two parties? Are there any unified pilot associations, or are they just "toothless"?

A very recent US television show (about the construction of the huge dam in China?) might have contained the segment where a lady claimed that China has only begun to either use the rule of law, or use courts to enforce the law. I have absolutely no idea what could substitute for the law, or what situation she had discussed on the program.

Does a Chinese contract have any actual value, or are working conditions based only upon tradition, promises and deception?

Do (PRC) Chinese airlines have any limitations on flying block hours, consecutive duty periods and defined minimum crew rest?
Some Chinese airlines apparently required some crews in the 90's to fly well over 110 block hours per calender month if not more, as was stated in a (US) "Business Week" magazine article years ago, which I read.
Good luck.
