Yeah, it's loosely based on airn@v. From what I have heard, airn@v is much better. (I don't have anything to do with the A330s yet). we have around 50PCs in the Brissy facility and around 10 printers that are used for documentations access. The problems with words missing seem to be on PCs with IE5 installed. (PCs with IE6 dont have the problem apparently).

I just found it a whole lot faster and easier to open a PDF and keyword search for what I needed.

Airbus seems to have added their own touches to the Boeing manuals. Had a funny one the other day when assembling a generator terminal block on a CF6. Something like this...

"Make sure the square washers are fitted below the terminal straps.

CAUTION. The square washers must be installed under the terminal straps otherwise overheating may occur.

Install the square washers below the terminal straps.

Make sure that the square washers are installed below the terminal straps"


Looks like airbus technical writers have a case of OCD!
