Q for 747 and BAe146 drivers
I am just undergoing A340 CCQ training and in the sim we did dual engine failure on the same wing procedure. Speed is limited to VMCL2 till commital altitude after which you reduce speed to be at Vapp at touchdown but are basically flying a speed below VMC. Is there similar VMCL2 limitations on a 747 and BAe146? Do you have commital altitudes also or are the performance limits not so restrictive given the thrust available (747 at least!). We did do a go around above and below commital altitude and results were interesting. What is performance like at low alt and low speees on the 747? Thanks
