Just to defend myself, at my airline it
is a privilage, it is not in our contracts. As for getting concessions taken off people, then yes I have no problem with my actions, why am I expected to take cr@p off people who work for the same company as me, yet feel that they can be rude, abusive and ignore all the basic rules of staff travel?
