They do have a Sothend connection already, last year they operated Jersey-Southend -Jersey as i believe a whole aircraft charter this year it is marketed i believe as a schedule flight but only operates on saturdays from the 13th may.
This could well be the start of bigger things to happen a Southend for Flybe schedule operates from there but it take time.
With more Dash q 400s arriving they may be making an annoucement some time this year about more operation from Southend but i would think not until 2007 but i may be provided wrong i hope.
