Anyone know what CityJet require by way of experience for an F/O?
CPL/IR and minimum hours required for issue of same. That's it. Most of pilots started at this level. If you have more hours, it's an advantage. There's something of an experience deficit with FO's at the moment, not many are near command type.

do you know of any new routes/new aircraft/how many new entrants are they taking for cabin crew?
RJ85's arriving in the autumn. 20 I think, plus 5 of the antiques will remain, bringing fleet to 25, so new routes are to be expected. Probably a lot of cc required, the turnover is quite high.

my french is really quite bad
It used not be, but I believe a certain level of French is now obligatory for cc.
It doesn't matter in this repect whihc base your're in. If you're DUB based, most of your work is ex-Paris anyway.

staff travel - do you travel for free on both air france and cityjet? i
Not for free, you get full R2 (standby) and R1 (confirmed staff fare) concessions on AF and WX. Standby also on a load of other carriers. The staff travel is very very good.
